Our state-of-the-art viral vector manufacturing services are housed in a 53,000 ft2 facility in Costa Mesa, CA. We operate two upstream CGMP manufacturing production trains, ensuring efficient and scalable production of high-quality viral vectors.

Avid’s state-of-the-art Viral Vector CGMP Manufacturing trains are designed to meet the diverse needs of your biopharmaceutical projects, offering scalable and efficient solutions for both adherent and suspension culture processes.
Key features:
- Production Train A: 50L and 500L single-use bioreactors with potential to scale up to 3,000L and large-scale fixed-bed bioreactors for adherent culture.
- Production Train B: Offering suspension culture options with 50L and 500L bioreactors, as well as adherent culture capabilities for batch sizes of up to 40 CS10s or 20 HS36s, with a dedicated focus on producing master and working cell banks.
- State-of-the-Art Purification: Equipped with ÄKTA chromatography skids and TFF systems for streamlined and effective purification processes
Fill Finish Capabilities
Our fill finish capabilities ensure precise and efficient packaging of biologics, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and processes to maintain product integrity and compliance.
- Supporting clinical and commercial programs
- Capacity up to 2,500 vials per session
- Capable of filling a variety of vials ranging from 2R to 50R
